Food was good breakfast fare with enjoyable coffee. Service was fast and fuss free. Atmosphere was as expected for a college bookshop and coffee spot, quiet and handy for getting a bit of work done with something refreshing.

Nice bookstore cafe split in half by the service counter. Friendly staff and a selection of cookies, cakes and savouries. Not a lot of space and can fill up very very fast during term. Sandwiches, panini and a variety of light sweets available as well. The brew coffee is above average

Turkey club is bomb! Coffee is alright, and service is usually pretty good. Gets a bit crammed inside sometimes though, not tons of space.

Okay. Lowkey. For a bookshop, the latte was so good and it surprised me. Loved the book
selection. Why is this bookstore so cute??

This was such a cute place!!!! The pastries were absolutely DELICIOUS. They tasted fresh and really really good. The staff there was super nice and helpful as well! I asked for book recommendations and the lady at the cashier helped me right away. (will definitely buy those books.) Their books are also nicely organized into sections, which I also really loved, along with even a section for "staff recommendations" which I thought was a smart idea. The atmosphere was super cute and cozy. 100% recommend stopping by and having a quick pastry or food and maybe even check out some books!

Great coffee drinks and pastries. Some seats inside and are pretty busy since it is nearby galleries and Yale buildings.
✨☀️🍞Morning bun was really delicious. Rich flavor with crispy and pliable texture. Highly recommended to cinnamon lovers.
🩷☕️🥛(seasonal) pink peppercorn and butterscotch latte was smooth with creative flavors. Not too sweet with a hint of spicy pepper!
The corn-based cookie (forgot the name) was interesting, unique flavor. It was chewy in the center and hard at the edge. Not my style but it was ok.

Near LITTLE book store with small cafe. Many different genres of books along with miscellaneous items to purchase. Prices seem reasonable. Half of building is small cafe with food and drink. Daughter got an iced vanilla latte (they don’t normally have cold foam, but did put cold foam from a seasonal drink on it) I had the Arnie Palmie. Both drinks were fine.

Fantastic mocha! Their seating is quite limited and it gets a bit noisy, so beware if you are a student coming to work. The drinks were great though.

I really enjoyed my visit to Atticus Bookstore Cafe! The bookstore is so cute and stocked with journals, puzzles, different genres of books, and felt pop culture people ornaments! I ended up buying a Freddie Mercury and Dolly Parton felt ornament because I could not resist. The person working the bookstore was so friendly and knowledgeable, and seeing my interest in the Freddie Mercury ornament even showed me a new Freddie Mercury puzzle they just got in stock.
The food and drink from the cafe was excellent, and speed of service was phenomenal. The breakfast sandwich was delicious-nice over-easy egg in the middle and a great portion of crispy bacon on fresh greens all in between a fresh and toasted potato bun. The cold brew was strong and flavorful. There's plentiful seating in a very pleasant atmosphere to enjoy your breakfast in.

I come to Atticus Bookstore Cafe often when I’m around Yale University, and it’s become one of my favorite spots in New Haven. The combination of a cozy bookstore and a relaxed café atmosphere makes it a great place to unwind, read, or take a break from walking around campus.
Their coffee is consistently great, and I’ve enjoyed many of their pastries over the years. I used to love their blueberry Danish, so I was a little disappointed to see it gone, but their morning roll is a solid alternative—simple, fresh, and really enjoyable. I definitely recommend trying it.
With friendly staff and an inviting vibe, this café is a place I always return to whenever I’m near Yale.
I also took more photos and videos from this visit and shared them on my Instagram (@chy75bobbi)(@newyork_banana) if anyone’s interested.
